JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initiates designs, develops and implements Lean manufacturing concept and sustain the program.
Serves as mentor to project teams
Acts as bridge between project teams and Lean SM
Supports Lean SM on capturing, compiling and making action items addressed and completed
Execute LEAN manufacturing techniques and design
Track and execute cost reduction for process improvements
Identify manufacturing cost reductions.
Optimize work flow and cell designs for shop throughput
Plan, execute and manage projects to complete through continuous improvement
Conducts and take part on meetings to assess execution and thoroughness of the lean content
On regular basis, tracks the progress, milestones, savings, and other key aspects of active projects
Communicate Lean group’s philosophy, vision and expectations.
Develop and sustain employees training and development on lean concepts. Develop measurement systems supporting lean manufacturing philosophy.
Lead value stream mapping exercises to determine and record business improvement areas.
Develop and implement project plans to achieve Future State.
Partners with Lean Champion to train & coach operations on the concept. Assists in Lean deployment program through making recommendations for process improvement and efficiency
Plan and reach expense budget objectives and capital items.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Industrial Engineering or any Engineering courses with a minimum of 2 yrs experience in Lean Manufacturing.
With experience in Lean Mfg. & Six Sigma Concepts job and functions.
