What you’d be doing:
- Develop and implement changes that impact distribution quoting integration partners within our insurance products
- Maintain and update distribution quoting integration partner carrier routing rules
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration processes and workflows.
- Manage and monitor integrations for operational health using various analytic platforms and identify potential areas for improvement
- Support the onboarding of new distribution quoting integrations partners
- Design, develop, and implement distribution quoting integrations between internal and external systems, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Actuarial, Computer science, or related field.
- Applied knowledge of SQL/XML /JSON language stacks and API calls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in creating functional documentation.
- Knowledge of source control best practices
Highly preferred candidates also have:
- Previous experience in the Insurance industry, preferably Property & Casualty.
- Experience using Visual Studio Code and GitLab.
- Advanced experience in Postman.
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Python, R.
