Job Description:
- Develop automated test frameworks for validating MPLAB Extensions for VS Code, Microchip Partner Development Tools, MPLAB Discover, and AI-powered Microchip development tools.
- Validate debugging tools including MPLAB X Simulator, MPLAB ICD5, and Pickit5.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks and workflow automation using AI.
- Create and execute test plans in accordance with specifications.
- Work as an individual contributor while also being capable of leading projects when required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in software development and test automation.
- Strong knowledge of C, Embedded C, and scripting languages such as Python
- Hands-on experience in developing test automation frameworks for GUI and embedded tools.
- Good understanding of embedded software testing processes, test plan creation, and execution.
- Familiarity with MPLAB X IDE, VS code extensions, DevOps practices, Selenium, CICD tools (Jenkins), and bug tracking tools.
- Experience working with 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers for developing or testing embedded applications
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Self-motivated, team player with the ability to multitask.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Electronics & Communication or Computer Science from a reputed institute.
- Experience in test automation and workflow automation using AI tools.
- Experience with Playwright or Squish for UI test automation.
