Job Profile Summary: 

Senior Process Automation Engineer is responsible for developing workflows and automation solutions using Business Process Management (BPM) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms. This position also involves designing the architecture, developing complex code, and deployment of solutions.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

People:

  • Create a positive team experience
  • Mentor and supervise staff engineers
  • Interface with teams throughout the firm to achieve project objectives.

Client:

  • Proactive work status update to International / India liaison
  • Accountable for exceptional, high‐quality work products and client deliverables
  • Communicate and coordinate projects tasks with external parties with limited supervision
  • Configure RPA, BPM and Reporting solutions in accordance with rigorous client specifications.

Value:

  • Architect workflow designs which are scalable, optimal and complete
  • Develop, adapt and improve existing coding standards, policies and procedures
  • Integrate BPM workflows and RPA tasks when required
  • Responsible for precise and complete technical documentation
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred
  • Knowledge of at least one enterprise programming language (.Net or Java)
  • Experience scripting in one or more languages (PowerShell, bash)
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation technologies
  • Command of at least one RPA tool is highly desired
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle
  • Exposure to enterprise software development methodologies
  • Exposure to frontend web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
  • Exposure to database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle Database)
  • Exposure to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence tools and techniques
  • 5 + Years of development experience.

Skills:

  • Technically fluent, exhibiting the required skills by way of the experiences listed above
  • Analytical and problem‐solving skills are a must
  • Task management, project management, and time management
  • Team participation and close collaboration are crucial to success in the role
  • Attention to detail, and a love of personal quality management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML and JavaScript.

Work Environment:

  • Current work hours are 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM & 2.00 PM to 11.00 PM, IST. Shift change is anticipated depending on US work hours/time zone and business need.
  • Candidate should be willing to work on any shift.
  • A reasonable amount of overtime will be required based on the workload.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees in India and US both via e‐mail and telephone.
