Job Description:
Ensure best product quality performance of assembly subcon suppliers through close management and collaboration
Manage and track supplier assembly performance to meet/exceed set target yield goals
Analyzes subcon assembly performance indices on qualified processes and establish proactive control systems to maintain/improve process capability
Participate in customer and annual basis quality audit at OSAT
Investigate both internal/customer quality concerns and drive 8D corrective/preventive actions related to the quality issues
Initiate, organize, and finalize disposition for non-conforming lot and expired material at subcon through SLD (Subcon Lot Disposition) and NCRB (Non-conforming review board)
Review specification comparison/gap analysis between Microchip and Assembly Subcon
Facilitate and review marking FAI and pre-production build requirements and reports
Attend internal company and external (subcon) meetings as necessary
Support/Assist internal Microchip Team for any assembly subcon related items
Handling SPCN changes (case to case basis) which does not require MCHP qualification procedure.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Key Competency / Skill Requirements:
Vast experience in Assembly process for Plastic/Discrete IC semiconductors
Knowledgeable in assembly process audit proper
With good communication and presentation skills
With strong personality and results oriented
Good team player
Education & Experience Required:
BSC Graduate of Engineering (Ex. Material/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ others…)
At least 5 years of work experience in Engineering function on Plastic packages (QFP/QFN/BGA..etc.) and Discrete (TO/SOT..etc) assembly.
