Job Description:
- Engineer’s main role is to perform routine task under the supervision of Engineering Manager.
- Responsible for keeping the line running in accordance with specifications, controls and standards. Keeping the specification and procedure up to date, making sure all recent changes and process simplification/control documented. •
- Adapts innovation in the way we do things, making it more efficient, productive, cost effective and most important of all high-quality standard, others may call it “best known practices”. •
- Performs evaluations, DOE, product and process capability analysis as deem necessary, to improve product/process capability/quality.
- Engineer must have math acumen, good communication skills and the ability to solve difficult problems.
- Engineer will be task to perform routine task such as data gathering, performance monitors, product testing and analysis, with an end in mind to improve process, product quality and performance, basically under direct supervision of an Engineering Manager
- Establish, improve, document, and deploy process and test methodologies and controls on Mechanical Relay product line.
- Identify, solve and provide disposition and/or recommendation on issues affecting product quality and customer deliveries. Coordinate and escalate to corresponding Business Unit as needed.
- Monitor yield and establish actions for continuous improvement of KRA’s.
- Meet with cross-functional teams to continuously improve engineering documents such as Control Plans, FMEAs, Process Flows, Procedures, and any other document that will have an impact on the assembly and/or test requirements of the assigned product line.
- Manage proper transition of NPIs from qualification stage to production release.
- Review and update production Work Orders/Routers to ensure robust documentation
- Conduct engineering evaluations as driven by line issues or process evaluations as required by the Business Units.
- Provide weekly report covering engineering metrics, and present results and actions on the weekly regular Operations Review
- Implement and adhere with the company policies and guiding values
- SME for Mechanical Relay assembly and test process and methodologies
- Lead the team of engineering and process technicians
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Preferably experienced in related field. BS Electrical Engineering, BSME and BSECE Degree Holder (with License is an advantage but not a must)
- Can communicate well in English (both written and verbal).
- Excellent in Oral and Written Communication
- Strong Leadership and Project Management Skills Knowledge in different Engineering Tools and Methodology.
- Preferably with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt but this is not a must
- Preferably with job related experience.
- Willing to work in Calamba Laguna
- Can work well with colleague.
- 7+ years’ experience in NPI, product development, or manufacturing engineering, preferably in electromechanical or semiconductor relay products
