About this opportunity:
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Authority Expert to join our Core Network team in Noida. In this role, you will take full ownership of complex configuration validations, LLD reviews, and 2nd-level validations across STP, DRA, and SCP nodes - ensuring zero design gaps and zero network impact. You will operate as the technical backbone of the team, driving precision in live, critical changes while enabling a culture of process excellence, automation awareness, and continuous learning. Reporting to the CA Manager, you will collaborate closely with customers, 3PP vendors, and Ericsson teams in a high-stakes 24×7 environment.
What you will do:
- Validate and execute DRA routing configurations including relay/proxy-based realm routing, command code routing, weightage/priority routing, and new dictionary/library additions
- Manage Diameter Interface integrations, IMSI mediation table updates, and preference/priority changes on Oracle and Huawei DRA
- Configure routing groups, IP tables, failovers, rule/pool groups, SUPI additions, NF instance IDs, and target NF pool additions in SCP
- Perform RBAR routing, ART/PRT table creation, and rule-based/traffic routing configurations in Oracle DSR
- Handle NPDB configurations (IMSI, DN, SPID), SCCP migrations, Sigtran setups, and MTP changes on STPs
- Execute GSM MAP Screening, FLOBR/TOBR-based screening configs and migrations
- Support hardware additions, software patch updates, and feature/service enablement
- Validate KPIs, error codes, and measurement reports to ensure network health
- Drive end-to-end Ericsson change management process adherence
- Contribute to automation of routine tasks and maintain learning trackers to mitigate risk
- Lead and participate in technical planning discussions and coordinate with customers, 3PP, and internal teams
The skills you bring:
- Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in GSM/VoLTE/5G Core network domain
- Deep expertise in SS7 protocols - ISUP, BICC, SIGTRAN, INAP, CAP, TCAP, MAP, SCCP, CS1+, HTTP/2, NAS
- Expert-level knowledge of Diameter protocols and interfaces - S6a, S6d, S13, Gx, Gy, Swx, Swm, Rx, S6b, Sh, Cx - including error codes (5002, 5065, 3002, 2001, 3003)
- Strong hands-on expertise on Huawei SPS (STP & DRA), Oracle DSR, Oracle Eagle 5 STP, Oracle NPDB, and Ericsson SCP
- Solid knowledge of 5G protocols and interfaces - N4, N5, N6, N7, N8, N11, N12
- Strong understanding of 2G, 4G, and 5G network architecture, interfaces, and call flows
- Familiarity with NOC operational processes and Ericsson Operate Engine (advantageous)
- Knowledge of automation platforms and ability to drive automation initiatives
- Excellent coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
- Self-driven, innovative mindset with ability to work independently in a 24×7 shift environment
