We are building the monitoring and security platform for developers, IT ops teams and business users in the cloud age.
The Role

The Enterprise IT Operations - Endpoint team is responsible for our fleet of devices, the MDMs that manage them, and the applications that enable Datadog employees to work efficiently.  This means managing thousands of devices across multiple operating systems and the ownership of their respective management suites.

The team also supports environments used for U.S. government and public sector work, which require elevated security, access controls, and operational rigor.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate and improve endpoint tooling and programs supporting FedRAMP, IL5, and other U.S. Federal compliance frameworks
  • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS Workspaces Applications environments, managed using Infrastructure as Code
  • Use Infrastructure as Code tools (such as Terraform or equivalent) to provision and maintain endpoint-related infrastructure in a repeatable, auditable way
  • Manage endpoint configurations, policies, and changes through Git-based workflows
  • Manage and secure Windows and Linux endpoints, including configuration, patching, hardening, and lifecycle management
  • Implement and validate endpoint security baselines aligned with NIST 800-53 requirements
  • Partner with Security and Compliance teams to support audits, assessments, and continuous monitoring
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for endpoint topics related to Federal programs
  • Improve reliability, security, and audit readiness through automation, documentation, and operational improvements
  • Participate in the IT On-Call schedule

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of experience in endpoint administration, enterprise IT, or infrastructure roles
  • Experience supporting FedRAMP, IL5, or similar U.S. Federal compliance programs
  • Hands-on experience managing Windows and Linux devices in enterprise or regulated environments
  • Experience operating infrastructure in AWS, including identity, networking, and security fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience designing or operating AWS AppStream environments
  • Practical experience using Infrastructure as Code (for example, Terraform or equivalent tools) in production environments
  • Experience using Git for change management, collaboration, and auditability
  • Ability to automate operational tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash
  • Clear communicator who values documentation and well-run systems

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
  • Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
