What you need:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science/ Electronics or related discipline
- 3–6 years of experience in Embedded Software Testing.
- Strong experience in designing, documenting, and reviewing test cases and test protocols.
- Experience in manual testing and automation using C, C++ or Python
- Experience analyzing test results and preparing comprehensive test reports.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and ALM platforms such as Git and JIRA.
- Understands the theory and methods of data reading for Embedded communication protocol and can apply them under minimal supervision while demonstrating:
- Reading data of CAN bus, UART/ RS232, I2C using communication cables.
- Experience in tools for monitoring embedded communication data.
- Reading data of UART/RS232, CAN, I2C, SPI using Oscilloscope
- 3+ years of experience in firmware writing for UART/RS232, SPI, CAN, I2C communication protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions.
- Understanding of hardware subsystem interface and debugging in an embedded environment.
