What is the role?

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will support the development of crucial control firmware. You will be a key member of a team of talented and smart people, challenging the status quo and pushing beyond boundaries. You will have the opportunity to leave your trace in space, working with many great space companies as our customers.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Develop high-quality software for bare metal or RTOS-enabled embedded devices
• Collaborate with different engineering teams to architect new features and guide future development
• Optimize software to improve system adaptability, performance, and security
• Perform system bring-up, debug, and validation
• Ensure compliance with software best practices and applicable standards
• Support engineering teams throughout the mission life cycle

What do we look for?

• A Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of proven experience in embedded software development
• Development experience in C and/or C++, and Python
• Experience designing and working with real-time embedded systems
• Good grasp of electronics fundamentals, radio frequency, networking protocols (such as TCP/IP, etc.)
• Fundamental understanding of real-time operating systems
• Expert knowledge of microcontroller periphery
• Good understanding of the Armv7E-M architecture
• Experience with embedded Linux is considered a plus
• Experience with heterogeneous embedded systems is considered a plus
