Littelfuse R&D is seeking a Senior Electronics Designer to support the development of battery disconnect switches and power distribution modules for the automotive industry. In this role, you will lead hardware design and electronics modifications, coordinate cross-functional development activities, and ensure the successful launch of new products.
This position follows a hybrid model, with few days per week spent at our Legnago office.
Support the development of battery disconnect switches and power distribution modules through product hardware design and electronics modifications
Coordinate product development activities to ensure successful design and launch of new products
Prototype, simulate, and test designs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Support mechanical design engineers, product, quality and the procurement teams in the product modification activities
Translate customer requirements into product specifications
Drive innovative technical solutions
Manage global stakeholders, both internal and external
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related field
3-5 years of hands-on experience in hardware design and development
Proficient in CAD tools, ideally Altium Designer
Background in the automotive industry preferred; familiarity with IATF and ATEX standards is a plus
Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions
Proactive self-starter with a strong drive to learn and apply new concepts
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
