What you'll do:
- Circuit and sub-system design for X-BAT and its support equipment. This includes cradle to grave ownership of architecture, design, analysis, schematic capture, layout, verification, qualification, integration, and manufacturing
- Work with mixed signal systems that include high-speed digital, FPGA, compute, analog, power regulation, EMI/EMC, RF, etc.
- Execute test and qualification campaigns. Including environmental test for vibration, altitude, radiation, thermal, humidity, etc.
- Lead system integration of your design. Including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Lead and mentor teammates
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, embedded, software, manufacturing, thermal, supplier development, reliability, supply chain, etc.)
- Help automate manufacturing test solutions for volume production
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; or equivalent
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Strong technical fundamentals
- Contributed to and led multiple product design cycles involving EE, ME, and SW engineering
- Familiar with CAD software such as Altium or equivalent
- Familiar with a PLM system such as Arena or equivalent
- Demonstrated track record of extreme ownership, working hard, and delivering outstanding outcomes
