KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently seeking experienced professionals for the position listed below in support of a major Offshore Project. The role will be based at either the Client's Office or the Contractor's Office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Job Purpose
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, engineering, execution, and commissioning support of electrical systems for ADNOC Offshore Greenfield developments. The role ensures all electrical engineering activities are performed in accordance with ADNOC standards, international codes, project specifications, safety requirements, and project schedules.
The incumbent shall provide technical leadership during FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-up phases of offshore facilities, including wellhead towers, offshore platforms, central processing facilities, substations, and associated infrastructure.
Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Design- Lead and execute electrical engineering activities for Greenfield offshore oil and gas projects.
- Develop and review electrical design deliverables including:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Load Lists
- Electrical Equipment Datasheets
- Power System Studies

- Design and review power generation, transmission and distribution systems.
- Assess electrical system performance, reliability, and integrity throughout project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, API and relevant international codes.
- Perform and review:

- Review vendor drawings and documentation within project timelines.
- Provide engineering support during construction and installation phases.
- Review method statements, inspection plans and field engineering queries.
- Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
- Witness FAT, SAT and commissioning tests as required.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements and project quality management systems.
- Promote safe design principles and asset integrity throughout project execution.
- Participate in design safety reviews and risk assessments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Master's Degree is advantageous.
- Professional Engineering registration or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of electrical engineering experience in Oil & Gas projects.
- At least 8 years in Greenfield Offshore EPC/EPCM projects.
- Strong ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Onshore, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy or major international operator project experience preferred.
- Experience covering FEED, Detailed Design, Construction and Commissioning phases.
