About the Role
As a Senior Design Electrical Engineer, you will lead the electrical design scope across a variety of infrastructure, buildings, and transport projects. You will provide technical direction, mentor junior engineers, and ensure delivery excellence in compliance with local authority regulations and international standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the design of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, earthing, and lightning protection.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Conduct electrical calculations: load analysis, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop, and cable sizing.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA, ADDC, UAE Fire Code, and other authority requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Supervise junior engineers and ensure adherence to delivery standards and procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and resolve design challenges using industry best practices.
- Maintain client relationships and ensure repeat business through excellent service and delivery.
- May be responsible for smaller or routine projects as Project Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8+years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the UAE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of UAE authority requirements and international codes.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.

Skills Required
