The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented senior software engineer to join our innovative team. A highly experienced and strategic software engineer specializing in enterprise data pipeline development. Demonstrates leadership in designing scalable ETL solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and driving technical excellence across cross-functional teams. Adept at solving complex data challenges and delivering robust, high-performance systems that support global investment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Leads the design and architecture of scalable data processing systems; mentors junior engineers and promotes best practices.
- Advanced Data Pipeline Engineering: Develops and optimizes reusable ETL components using platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Works closely with product and business teams to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
- Code Quality & Governance: Establishes coding standards, conducts peer reviews, and ensures compliance with performance, security, and maintainability benchmarks.
- Operational Excellence: Oversees support and maintenance of data platforms, ensuring reliability and rapid issue resolution.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintains thorough documentation and contributes to internal knowledge bases.
Qualifications & Experience
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python; experience with PySpark and Pandas.
- ETL Tools: Hands-on experience with platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
- Data Analysis: Ability to understand and navigate complex global data flows.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of documenting processes clearly.
