We're looking for a seasoned editorial expert to join our communications team as our first Senior Editor. As a key member of our team, reprting to the Head of Communcations, you'll play a crucial role in defining how we communicate with our stakeholders and bring our brand to life through language.
About the role
As Senior Editor, you'll be responsible for refining our content to ensure it's engaging, accurate, and consistent with our house style. You'll work closely with colleagues across the company to provide guidance on language and style, and help shape our tone of voice to resonate with our audience.
As a guardian of our style guide, you'll ensure our messaging is cohesive and compelling, and that our brand voice is consistent across all channels. As we grow, you'll also have the opportunity to build out an editorial team and contribte to shaping the communications function to meet the evolving needs of our business.
What we're looking for
- A native English speaker with a passion for language and a keen eye for detail
- Seven years of editorial experience in a corporate or journalistic setting, with a portfolio that showcases your expertise
- Experience of the tech landscape is an advantage; knowedge of deep tech, AI/ML or cloud computing particularly so
- A sensitive and creative approach to language, with the ability to balance clarity and style, combined with rigor and a stickler's eye for detail
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage your workload and prioritize tasks effectively
- A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work closely with colleagues to achieve our goals
