Senior E&RF Engineer

Main responsibilities:

• Analyze and define radio frequency and antenna requirements across various wireless interfaces.
• Design RF front-end circuits and antennas for new product developments.
• Setup and lead workshops to design and document the RF architecture of new devices.
• Select appropriate RF electronic components based on performance, reliability, and cost criteria.
• Provide RF-related support to manufacturing processes and production testing.
• Define, develop and implement test plans to validate new RF designs.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in existing systems, proposing upgrades where necessary.
• Ensure that designs meet both functional and non-functional requirements, including quality and timeline expectations.
• Recommend improvements to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Support regulatory certification processes and compliance activities.

Requirements:

• BS in Telecommunications Engineering or related field, preferably M.Sc.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in designing RF circuits and antennas.
• Deep understanding of RF principles, antenna theory, and wireless interfaces.
• Experience in RF front-end design and component selection.
• Proficiency in RF simulation and measurement tools (e.g., CST, HFSS, Smithchart, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers).
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI considerations, and RF compliance standards (ETSI, FCC).
• Ability to define and execute test plans for RF performance validation (Positively valued: experience with Python and scripting for test automation).
• Experience supporting RF aspects of manufacturing and production testing.
• Proven experience in full-cycle product development — from concept to market adoption.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) practices.
• Ability to document requirements, specifications, and technical decisions clearly.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive in identifying constraints and proposing solutions.
• High energy, flexibility, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Passionate about developing new products and services.
• Experience working in multinational and multicultural environments, with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships..
