Essential Functions
The Senior Director, Data Analytics & Reporting leads enterprise data analytics and reporting strategies to support operational and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners with corporate and facility leadership to translate business priorities into actionable metrics, insights, and reporting solutions. The Senior Director drives the effective use of data assets, ensures data quality and governance, and advances the organization's data strategy to improve performance across clinical, financial, and operational domains.
Essential Functions
- Leads the development and delivery of enterprise analytics and reporting solutions that support organizational priorities and performance improvement.
- Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to define key performance indicators, develop actionable metrics, and align reporting with business goals.
- Analyzes clinical, financial, and operational workflows to design meaningful reporting and data visualizations that support decision-making.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in healthcare analytics, including revenue cycle, clinical and financial integration, expense management, and human capital analytics.
- Provides leadership in responding to complex analytical requests from senior leadership, delivering timely and accurate insights.
- Establishes and enforces data quality standards, audit processes, and validation techniques to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.
- Drives continuous improvement in data aggregation, reporting logic, and analytical methodologies to enhance usability and scalability of data solutions.
- Leads and develops high-performing analytics teams, including organizational design, talent development, and succession planning.
- Manages departmental budgets, resources, and priorities to support strategic objectives.
- Builds and maintains strong partnerships across corporate and facility leadership to promote data-driven decision-making and cross-functional alignment.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field required
- Master's Degree preferred
- More than 10 years progressive experience in data management, data warehousing, or data analytics, with at least 5 years in the healthcare industry required
- 7-9 years experience leading data teams, managing complex data projects, and working with large healthcare datasets preferred
- Ability to deconstruct complex clinical processes into logical steps and redesign them for efficiency and safety.
- Deep understanding of the frameworks that allow health systems to talk to one another.
- Skills to extract, clean, and interpret data to drive decision-making, using tools ranging from SQL and Excel to Python.
- Ability to navigate the "people" side of technology, including user interface (UI) design, usability testing, and institutional buy-in.
- Ability to manage a project from initial requirements gathering through implementation, maintenance, and eventual decommissioning.
- Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) preferred or
- Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA) preferred
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
