Summary Generated by Built In

The Senior Director, Strategic IT Partner, Revenue is responsible for the technology agenda supporting the company’s Revenue function, which includes the Sales and Marketing organizations. Reporting directly to the CIO, this leader acts as the primary senior technology partner to the Chief Revenue Officer and other Revenue leadership, developing a deep understanding of commercial strategy, customer engagement, sales execution and marketing priorities and translating these into technology strategies, roadmaps and investment plans.

The role is fundamentally focused on business outcomes. The Senior Director will identify where technology can improve revenue growth, sales productivity, customer experience, marketing effectiveness, commercial decision-making and operating efficiency. This requires the ability to challenge existing processes, identify new opportunities and connect business priorities with appropriate technology capabilities.

The Senior Director leads teams responsible for selected applications and business solutions supporting Revenue, together with associated product management, functional expertise and delivery capabilities. However, major shared capabilities—including ERP and enterprise platforms, Information Security, Infrastructure & Operations, and AI & Data—are provided through specialist teams. The Senior Director is accountable for bringing these capabilities together into effective end-to-end solutions and ensuring clear accountability for business value and adoption.

The role will develop and manage a multi-year Revenue technology roadmap, balancing strategic transformation with continual improvement of existing capabilities. Particular emphasis will be placed on simplification, standardization, automation, data and AI, and reducing unnecessary technology complexity.

Success requires an individual who can operate equally effectively with senior commercial executives and technology specialists, combining strong business acumen with sufficient technology depth to shape decisions and challenge assumptions.

As a member of the CIO’s senior leadership team, the Senior Director will also contribute to broader Technology strategy, investment priorities, transformation, talent and organizational performance.

  • Own the portfolio of business solutions and applications assigned to the Revenue technology organization.

  • Establish clear product and solution ownership across the portfolio.

  • Maintain end-to-end accountability for technology-enabled business outcomes, even where underlying capabilities are delivered by shared Technology teams.

  • Lead business analysis, functional solution design, product management and delivery capabilities within the organization.
