As a Senior Director of Software Engineering at JPMorganChase within Global Customer Platform, you lead multiple technical areas, manage the activities of multiple departments, and collaborate across technical domains. - Hands on expertise in large-scale engineering delivery, platform modernization, or technology transformation, including leadership of senior engineers/leads.
- Experience developing or leading large or cross-functional teams of technologists
- Demonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scale
- Experience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability
- Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
- Extensive practical cloud native experience
- Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Deep mainframe modernization experience (batch/online workloads, scheduling chains, DB2/VSAM concepts, integration/messaging) and proven patterns to retire mainframe dependencies safely.

- Experience implementing automated parity validation (dual-run strategies, output comparisons, reconciliation, drift detection) and evidence-based shutdown readiness.
- Experience with governance models for large transformations (architecture authority, risk forums, release/change management cadence, KPI-driven execution).
- Partner management experience for tooling and delivery assurance.
