The Role:

The Director of Product Operations will bring together teams across CIQ’s functions to help our product team plan well, build with quality, and execute optimally. You will be part of the product and technology leadership group, and your team will closely work with the Chief Product and Technology Officer, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines. This role includes components of strategy (e.g. annual business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of product and engineering, monitoring their results, and connecting the operating lines between our functions via solid product processes), and communications. In this role, you will interface with product and engineering leaders and take a data-driven approach to business, product strategy, and engineering, with the goal of driving product planning, product execution, GM optimization, and product led growth.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in office that will be based out of our Seattle, WA hub.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop strategic analysis, working with leadership and the Product Management and Engineering teams, including GM analysis and product led growth  
  • Define and track key product/engineering/business metrics/KPIs, drive product and engineering execution, lead monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Deliver data, analytics, and insights in strategic initiatives for the Product team that helps leadership with critical decision-making
  • Run product process initiatives and contracting of Product technology partners
  • Coach and mentor your direct reports (currently 2) to foster a supportive culture of collaboration and delivery to high standards
  • Get support and mentorship from principal and senior leadership
  • Lead cross-functional project teams in structuring and executing analyses needed to develop recommendations, and communicate findings to senior management.
  • Bring in and incorporate industry best practices into the Product Operations group
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective execution of product initiatives and support other functions initiatives

What You'll Bring:

  • 8-10+ years of overall experience, constituting a mix of Engineering with Product Operations, Program Management, or another tech function
  • 3-4+ years of experience as a people manager at a B2B SaaS company 
  • Experience with end to end product lifecycle, from planning to delivery and with new product introduction
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Business acumen and comfort with financial data 
  • Experience with data analysis tools and development management tools
  • Experience working with various geographic locations
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

Nice to Haves:

  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Commerce domain experience

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is: $215,000 - $323,000/per year    

This base pay range may be inclusive of several career levels at CommerceIQ and will be narrowed based on a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.  

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at CommerceIQ. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock options, as well as potential discretionary bonuses. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k)-retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other perks. We have at least 10 paid company holidays in each calendar year, in addition to unlimited PTO for all full-time employees.
