As a Product Manager at Talkdesk, you'll become the voice of our customers and market, translating vision into product requirements alongside our engineering team.
As part of a Data Platform team, you’ll play a key role in advancing our data platform, delivering innovative solutions for both internal and external stakeholders. Every day, your team will craft technological innovations that power our data platform, enabling advanced reporting, AI-powered insights, and natural language interfaces to data. You'll help shape the data backbone behind dashboards, strategic insight packs, visualizations, new smart data sources, and solutions that drive better decisions across our company and for our customers.
You'll be the go-to person and real owner of your product - detailing plans, scope, and delivery of our cutting-edge Data Platform and its features. If you're excited about working with a dynamic, intellectually stimulating team using the latest Data technologies to power real-time and batch data use cases, the Data Platform team is made for you. Your impact will be felt daily as customers seamlessly interact with our data through intuitive and easy to use interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Translate stakeholder input, market research, and strategic goals into clear, actionable product requirements.
- Create and maintain product documentation, including Product Design Documents (PDD), GAP analyses, and technical specifications.
- Capture, analyze, and leverage customer insights to drive product decisions
- Analyze product metrics and propose data-driven product improvements and experiments
- Monitor post-launch product performance metrics to evaluate success and identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead continuous iteration cycles based on performance data and user feedback
- Prioritize and manage bugs and feature requests effectively
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams
- Lead the product development lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond
Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a product manager, data analyst, or similar role
- Experience working with data products, analytics, or data-driven decision-making (highly desirable)
- Previous hands-on or project experience in data engineering or AI-powered data interfaces (plus)
- Ability to translate complex data concepts into intuitive user experiences.
- Experience defining and tracking product success metrics and implementing data-driven improvements
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to exercise agency, take ownership, and drive results independently
- Strong consultative skills and ability to build productive relationships
- Skilled in roadmap creation, requirement documentation, and stakeholder management

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
