The Role
Lead NVIDIA's PCB and PCBA capability: set multi-year strategy and roadmap, build a world-class PCB/SMT team, prioritize investments, align suppliers, drive supplier execution and root-cause closure, raise manufacturing reliability using SPC/CpK/CTQ and inline metrology, and partner with design, SI, and reliability to qualify technologies for volume production.
Summary Generated by Built In

NVIDIA has been redefining computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 30 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s fueled by great technology and amazing people. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their life’s work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.

What you will be doing:

  • Own printed circuit board and assembly/manufacturing as a company-critical capability. Set the multi-year strategy, investment priorities, and technology roadmap. Develop cross-company product and technology decisions that depend on it. Ensure the circuit design never limits NVIDIA's growth speed.

  • Build and lead the industry’s premier team of PCB and SMTA experts. Make NVIDIA the destination for top talent and the source of industry-leading innovations.

  • Identify and develop the technical and business argument supporting key investments in next-generation PCB and PCBA technology, capability, and capacity. Partner with Strategic Sourcing to align suppliers with NVIDIA’s long-term roadmap, long-term supply from fabricators through raw-material suppliers.

  • Drive execution and follow-through across the global supply base, putting engineers on-site to enhance suppliers’ capabilities, and close issues to true root cause.

  • Raise operational stability and dependability toward semiconductor-grade standards. This includes SPC, CpK/CTQ methods, real-time measurement systems, and detailed failure analysis.

  • Partner closely with PCB Design, Signal Integrity, and Reliability to drive parallel, de-risked technology and material paths, taking new technologies from concept to qualified, volume production so the roadmap always has a manufacturable, cost-effective solution ready.

What we need to see:

  • B.S. or higher in Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent deep industry experience.

  • 20+ years across circuit board fabrication and assembly/SMT technologies, including significant experience leading large, global, cross-functional engineering or manufacturing technology organizations.

  • 10 + yrs of management experience.

  • Proven track record owning a technology or manufacturing capability at scale and prioritizing investment and influencing product and technical direction with senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain top technical talent and build world-class team.

  • Deep expertise in manufacturing operational reliability and consistency, including SPC, CpK/CTQ subject area, inline metrology, and root-cause failure analysis. Proven record of driving suppliers to closure on complex quality issues.

  • Demonstrated mastery of PCB technology development (laminate and material systems, interconnect structures, HDI/multilayer stackups, fabrication, reliability engineering) and hands-on PCBA/SMT manufacturing (solder and thermal materials, underfill, reflow, DFM/DFT, SPC, FA, high-reliability assembly).

  • Experience supporting high-reliability markets (Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Medical) with process control and reliability requirements is a strong plus.

With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. We have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us. This is a role for a builder who wants to take on a hard problem, own it for the long term, and see it through to mass production. Are you creative and autonomous? Do you love a challenge? If so, we want to hear from you. Come, join our growing team and help us build the future of accelerated computing.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 292,000 USD - 442,750 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

Applications for this job will be accepted at least until July 26, 2026.
