About the Role
Teads is seeking a visionary Senior Director of Marketing, APAC to lead our marketing efforts across the entire Asia-Pacific region. Based in Singapore, you will be the primary architect of the Teads brand strategy for all APAC markets, including North Asia, Southeast Asia, ANZ, Japan and India.
As a senior leader, you will move beyond execution to focus on regional growth, team mentorship, and strategic commercial impact. You will lead a high-performing team of "Teadsters" to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of the AdTech and media evolution.
You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer (New York) while working daily with the broader APAC marketing team and local business stakeholders.
Your main responsibilities
- Regional Strategy & Vision: Define the overarching APAC marketing roadmap, aligning global company objectives with local market nuances to drive commercial success.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a multi-market team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and high performance, while identifying synergies across markets.
- Strategic Event Oversight: Move from logistics to strategy by overseeing the regional events calendar, ensuring high-impact presence at major industry summits, as well as owned events.
- Executive Stakeholder Management: Serve as the marketing partner to APAC C-suite and regional Managing Directors, providing data-driven insights and budget forecasting for the entire region.
- Brand & Content Architecture: Oversee the localization and creation of "fit for purpose" content, ensuring the Teads identity is consistently represented across diverse languages and cultures.
- Public Relations & Thought Leadership: Direct regional PR strategy in close collaboration with the Corporate Communication team, managing agency relationships to position Teads leaders as industry experts and securing top-tier awards for the region.
- Budget Management & Financial Accountability: Own and optimize the total APAC marketing budget. Strategically allocate resources across diverse markets and channels to ensure maximum ROI, cost efficiency, and strict alignment with global financial targets.
Required qualifications:
- Experience: 15+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within AdTech, Digital Media, or SaaS.
- Leadership Track Record: Proven experience managing cross-border teams and navigating the complexities of the APAC media landscape and cultural differences.
- Strategic Communication: Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and draft high-level thought leadership.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the APAC ecosystems; proficiency in regional languages is a significant advantage.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Expert-level ability to use CRM and Marketing tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) to track ROI and regional marketing performance.
