We are seeking a Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to join our team. 

Salary Range: $85,000 - $92,000

As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission.  New hire salaries are typically between the minimum and midpoint.  Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidate’s job-related skill, experience, education, licensure, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.

The Senior Director of Marketing & Communications provides strategic leadership for Cornerstones of Care’s brand, communications, and marketing functions. This role sets the organization’s comprehensive marketing and communications direction—spanning internal and external communications, digital marketing, social media, advertising, ecommunications, website management, and visual identity. The Senior Director oversees a multidisciplinary team, ensures alignment with organizational priorities, and strengthens Cornerstones of Care’s presence in the community. This position serves on the Senior Leadership Team and plays a critical role in advancing the agency’s mission through clear, consistent, traumainformed communication strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

 Strategic Leadership & Brand Management

  • Lead the organization’s brand identity, messaging architecture, and visual standards across all platforms.
  • Direct internal and external communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Oversee annual marketing planning, campaign development, and crossdepartmental coordination.
  • Develop and manage policies related to brand, communications, and public representation.
  • Establish, monitor, and evaluate key performance indicators across marketing, communications, digital engagement, and brand initiatives to ensure datadriven decisionmaking and continuous improvement.

Digital Marketing & ECommunications

  • Direct digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, analytics, and digital advertising.
  • Oversee ecommunications including newsletters, automated campaigns, and stakeholder updates.
  • Manage social media strategy, content development, and brand voice across platforms.
  • Lead website content strategy, user experience improvements, and digital accessibility.

Content Development & Creative Direction

  • Guide messaging and storytelling that elevates mission impact and community engagement.
  • Provide direction for visual content, ensuring brand consistency across digital and print materials.
  • Oversee thematic campaigns for fundraising, recruitment, events, and community engagement.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor two direct reports as well as the entire Marketing and Communications team.
  • Partner with Program, Advancement, Executive Leadership and other teams to support organizational initiatives.

Operational Management

  • Oversee timelines, workflows, and production schedules.
  • Manage relationships with printers, digital vendors, and external partners.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Our ideal candidate will have 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, or digital strategy and the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field, required.
  • Supervisory experience, required.
  • At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening
  • A valid driver’s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
