The Senior Director of Infrastructure Financing role is responsible for key financial planning and strategic funding activities within BC’s comprehensive assessment, analysis, development, and implementation of transformation strategies for clients’ businesses. This position leads financial analysis, capital improvement planning, rate studies, budgeting, identifying funding sources, developing funding strategies, and managing grant and loan applications to promote clients' financial stability and growth. This role is self-directed with little oversight.
This role is responsible for key financial planning activities within BC’s comprehensive assessment, analysis, development, and implementation of transformation strategies for clients’ businesses. Leading financial analysis, capital improvement planning, rate studies, budgeting, developing financing strategies, and managing clients' financial stability and growth.
Responsibilities
- Guide targeted and/or comprehensive business assessments and development of implementation strategies and plans for our clients to enhance their operations and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support in the client’s development of comprehensive planning approaches and practices that connect strategic goals and objectives to implementation.
- Identify potential risks to both BC and the client organization and ensure proper governance and policy development.
- Work within federal and state funding programs to optimize funding opportunities.
- Support and actively participate in key municipal finance initiatives within the organization.
- Lead infrastructure financing efforts, with a focus on municipal utility finance.
- Analyze market trends through competitor research and deliver valuable insights into industry developments.
- Lead the development of strategies for funding and financing to support infrastructure
- Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.

- Provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles.

Experience
- Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in infrastructure financing or a related relevant field.
Education
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, finance, environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related field is required.
Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
