As the Senior Director of Human Resources, you will partner with managers, external stakeholders, and other HR team members to create a professional, inclusive and collaborative environment for all our employees, bringing value to their lives & time spent at Xsolla. You will support the global team, and make decisions for the benefit of the company on a global level, while partnering with local leadership to optimize and improve the regions continuously. The team of regional HR leads will report directly into this position. 


Working within the employee life cycle, you will manage, optimize, and inform others on Company policies, procedures, and processes. Within the Human Resources team, you will collaborate with other team leads and team members, celebrate our multinational company culture, and continue to globalize HR efforts. Individually you strive to grow as an employee and manager, having a focus on continuous development for yourself and your role. 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Develop strategic relationships within the organization to help solve problems swiftly
  • Support and execute talent strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals
  • Partner with senior leadership to understand business needs and design HR initiatives that support organizational objectives.
  • Talent Management
  • Manage and develop direct reports through delegation, 1:1 meetings, coaching, and other managerial methods 
  • Oversee the Human Resources function (excluding Talent Acquisition activities)
  • Employee Engagement
  • Manage and improve employee lifecycle, working with other HR team members to ensure efficiency and completion
  • Identify areas of improvement and provide actionable recommendations to Operations team, and/or managers or department supervisors
  • Assist managers in the production of coaching/development materials as needed by the manager or senior leadership
  • Support the understanding and completion of performance management and the performance review process
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Support organizational compliance
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Implement initiatives to measure and improve employee morale and retention.
  • Organizational Development
  • Guide departments (including managers) through team training, workshops and career development planning 
  • Assist managers with performance reviews and follow-up discussions, with an emphasis on process completion
  • Assist Talent Acquisition team as needed, including interviewing candidates as needed
  • Maintain a high level of organization
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the company
  • Promote and model Company values
  • Employ high levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times

  • To never drop more than 10 points, maintain current score, or increase by at least a point

  • Global Performance Review Completion:
  • 90% of total performance reviews completed 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organizational performance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
