The role / impact
As the Senior Director of GTM Finance for ANZ, you will become the primary expert on financial and commercial matters for one of Xero's most significant regions. You will provide strategic direction and commercial leadership, ensuring resources and investments are directed toward the areas that drive the best outcomes for our small business customers.
By linking operational information to strategy, you will enable the regional leadership team to navigate financial issues and achieve long-term goals. Your work will balance revenue growth with operational efficiencies, directly influencing the momentum of Xero’s expansion across Australia and New Zealand.

You will lead a high-performing finance team dedicated to the ANZ region, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. This team acts as a vital bridge, connecting regional operations with central global finance stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency across the organisation.
The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on
Leading the annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the ANZ region.
Developing and implementing regional business plans that align with Xero’s long-term global strategy.
Managing day-to-day operational functions including tax, compliance, and financial reporting.
Driving initiatives to optimise the cost base and proactively manage regional expenses.

You bring deep commercial and financial acumen, with a proven history of managing business unit P&L and navigating complex financial landscapes.
Your ability to influence and coach executive-level leaders allows you to drive action and support critical decision-making.
You possess a strong understanding of SaaS business drivers and operating metrics, ideally gained within a high-growth technology environment.
You have a natural talent for storytelling with data, turning complex information into clear insights that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
A CA/CPA qualification is part of your professional toolkit, supporting your technical rigour and attention to detail.
You thrive in fast-paced settings and embrace change, maintaining a proactive and results-oriented approach even when faced with ambiguity.
