Title: Senior Director, Global People Partners
Location: New York, Chicago, Boston, East Coast Remote
Reporting to: Chief People Officer
Cision is looking for a Senior Director, Global People Partners, reporting into our Chief People Officer, to join our dynamic and evolving People team! This highly strategic role will directly support one or more members of our Executive Leadership Team while leading a team of Global People Partners to success. Acting as a key business partner, you will work in a fast-paced, global environment, tackling new challenges and driving impactful people strategies that shape the future of our workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically partner with assigned executive level leader(s) and global partners to understand business and organizational needs and objectives, develop strategies, and implement solutions.
- Develop global workforce strategies that align to the business' short and long-range plans.
- Lead as primary partner for assigned executive leadership team(s) on all things people and culture, including engaging global points of contact in the People function.
- Initiate or support high-impact people strategies to drive business effectiveness across functions.
- Continue to drive cost effectiveness by employing relevant strategies and achieving or exceeding synergy savings targets.
- Effectively drive accountability and a performance-driven culture.
- Act as a change agent through change and transformation.
- Contribute, communicate, and collaborate globally with other People functions
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, directly supporting senior executives.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing a team of People Partners.
- Strong understanding of organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and employment law.
- Experience in a global technology, marketing, or SaaS company, with a solid understanding of employment regulations and cultural nuances across North America.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to drive large-scale people initiatives, influence decision-makers, and implement business-aligned people strategies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and drive impactful discussions.
- Experience navigating high-growth, fast-paced environments, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
- A strategic problem-solver, with an innovative mindset and the ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP, SHRM SCP (or international equivalent), or a Master’s degree in HR or a related discipline

For Individuals based in New York, Illinois, Colorado, Washington, and California, Cision is required to disclose a salary range for this role. This compensation range is specific to these states, however base pay may vary depending on a range of relevant factors.
