We are looking for a Senior Director of Accounting to oversee our newly created Deals Desk within our Finance organization. As the Deals Desk Accounting leader, you will partner with numerous business units to lead all aspects of and scale the deals process for optimal deal velocity, assess risk, and structure deals for new and existing business models.
What you’ll be doing:

Oversee Deals Desk Accounting operations for revenue and purchasing contracts; through a combination of automation and standardization, scale the deal flow process for optimal deal velocity

Find opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in deal management

Partner with Sales, Legal, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, Vendor Management, FP&A and various Business Units to structure deals for new and existing business models

Negotiate directly with customers or vendors regarding key financial terms as necessary

Ensure alignment with company policy and financial goals

Lead a team of four Accounting deal reviewers and ensure appropriate accounting has been executed
What we need to see:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from a leading university in Finance or Accounting

Active CPA license
-
15+ overall years with a combination of public accounting and related industry experience
-
6+ years of people leadership
-
8+ years with a technical accounting/contract volume focus

Demonstration of continual management progression and leading of teams
-
Executive presence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the Company

Strong US GAAP technical accounting base

Strong understanding of financial, legal and operational risks

Familiarity working in a public company SOX-compliant environment

Ability to work at the speed of light

The base salary range is 304,000 USD - 460,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
