WHAT WE SEEK

  • We are seeking a Senior Director of Data Science and Measurement to lead a team of scientists and engineers and drive innovation in the development and application of advanced measurement and data science techniques. The candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in measurement and ad tech and has a deep understanding of machine learning, statistics, and data analysis. They will be responsible for leading the development of new data-driven measurement products and insights, managing a team of data scientists and engineers, and working closely with other teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive the vision, strategy, and development of innovative measurement products and solutions that provide value for our customers.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including product, engineering, and business development, to define and execute on data-driven projects.
  • Build a Data Quality framework to ensure the robustness and consistency of our data products
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to advance our TV measurement and methodology
  • Develop and implement best practices and processes for data science projects, including data management, modeling, and analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques and technologies, and identify opportunities to apply them to our business.
  • Communicate insights and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, and provide thought leadership on the future of measurement, ad tech, and their applications.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work
  • Identify and develop top talent and support an inclusive, high performing team culture.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in data science, with a track record of developing and implementing data-driven solutions in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams of data scientists and delivering complex data projects on time and on budget
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Big Query, and Snowflake
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data science concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in the advertising industry, preferably in the TV space, is a plus
