The Role
As the Senior Director of Cloud Native Specialists, you will be the primary architect of Dynatrace’s global approach to the modern, containerized enterprise. This leadership mandate sits at the intersection of Platform Engineering, Kubernetes (K8s), and Multi-cloud strategy.
Beyond serving as a visionary for the technical vanguard, you will recruit, mentor, and manage a elite team of Cloud Native Specialists. You will be responsible for their professional development and for scaling their impact across our Global Sales and Customer Success organizations, ensuring we navigate the complexities of "Day-2" operations for the world's largest ephemeral architectures.
Executive & Leadership Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & People Management

- Develop "Cloud-Native ROI" models to quantify the reduction of the "Kubernetes Tax"—the hidden operational cost of managing K8s at scale.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to displace niche monitoring tools by proving the business value of Davis® AI for automated root cause analysis.
- Influence the product roadmap by aggregating field insights from your team to drive the next generation of AI-powered observability.
4. SRE & Platform Advocacy
- Advise Global 2000 Platform Teams on integrating observability into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Standardize "Observability-as-Code" strategies using Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
- Help customers bridge the gap between technical metrics and business revenue through Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and FinOps alignment.
