About The Position:

The Dotdash Meredith Health & Pharma Ad Sales Vertical is hiring a Sr. Director, Brand Partnerships. You have a strong background and focus on advertising sales with pharmaceutical accounts. As a key business builder of the Brand Partnerships team, you’ll be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and growing revenue for our health vertical by using your category expertise to drive business and exceed goals for your pharmaceutical account list.  

Hybrid 3x a week- New York, NY

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals by growing existing base of business and prospecting new business

  • Successfully navigate both agency and client direct partnerships in the pursuit of driving revenue

  • Drive partnerships with clients that set up long term success and repeat business

  • Demonstrate ability to learn and position product portfolio

  • Respond to and close RFPs with a sense of urgency

  • Work with marketing and account strategy, to create effective and compelling sales materials, presentations and client follow-up documents

  • Monitor, forecast, track and report sales performance to senior management

  • Demonstrate a command of your accounts and articulate your strategy and our offerings clearly to stakeholders

The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

 

Experience:

  • Digital media professional with a minimum of 5 years of successful digital advertising sales experience

  • Experience working with both agencies and client direct partners to drive book of business

  • Experience with and knowledge of the healthcare industry and key pharmaceutical clients

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

  • Must be organized, energetic, detail-oriented and have excellent negotiation and presentation skills

  • Ability to think and plan strategically, adept at solving problems and bring timely resolution to issues

  • Ability to collaborate and work well with internal cross functional teams and stakeholders i.e  Marketing, Account Strategy and Research 

  • Willingness to travel to outer markets (Chicago, Philadelphia, LA) on a quarterly basis 

  • Willingness to entertain after office hours, on a regular basis

  • Superior listening and communication skills, exuding a positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy, and a team player

 

% Travel Required (Approximate): 20%

Pay Range

Salary: New York: $130,000.00 - $200,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees.
