About the role
Responsible for implementing the AI product strategy and end-to-end AI applications.Key Accountabilities:
Technology Leadership: Responsible for scaling AI use cases to end-to-end AI products— from ideation, road mapping and prototyping to deployment and scaling into robust AI applications across enterprise
AI/ML Portfolio Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify AI opportunities, oversee the AI/ML project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business priorities and showcasing measurable business value & ROI. Prioritize use cases based on feasibility, impact, and ethical considerations.
AI Products Oversight: Day-to-day oversight and management of AI build teams/PODS, AI backlog tracking, prioritize AI features, product release planning, continuously monitor key success criteria by aligning with business objectives
Product Delivery & Adoption: Work closely with other IT teams and partners to develop, test, and iterate on AI products. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs and drive business results. Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to align AI initiatives with broader company strategies. Serve as a change agent and catalyst to drive AI adoption within the business. Collaborate with the enterprise AI Change Management and Education teams to ensure impactful communication strategies to promote AI success stories and best practices.
AI Impact Measurement: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of AI products and initiatives. Continuously analyze product performance and user feedback, making data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes.
AI Trends: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry & technology trends and inform AI product decisions.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Product Management, building complex software and technology products at scale.
Demonstrated ability to manage technology product lifecycle from concept to delivery and scaling.
Experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and drive change.
Proven experience in building AI/ML technologies, AI framework, chat and voice generative applications, and expertise in various LLM/ML models.
Deep understanding of modern AI/ML architecture, cloud platforms, and AI technology platforms.
Strong expertise in deploying optimized performance tested scalable AI/ML solutions.
Outstanding collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels.
Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audience.
Preferred:
Experience in deploying AI/ML applications in life insurance or voluntary benefits organizations.
Proficient in Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud platforms (preferably in Azure or Databricks).
Experience in identifying core insurance workflows and applying process redesign approaches for maximizing AI value through process transformation.
The compensation range for this role is (based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois):
$110,252.00 - $204,753.00 per yearThe final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for commission.
