Senior DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role:

The candidate will operate in a compliance-driven SaaS environment (SOC 2 / CSA-aligned) and independently manage infrastructure security controls across AWS environments to maintain strong security posture, availability, and audit readiness

What will you do:

• Manage infrastructure security posture using CSPM tools such as Orca Security (or equivalent) for infrastructure hardening, continuous vulnerability assessment (VA), risk prioritization, and timely remediation of identified security issues.

• Own and manage infrastructure-related security incident response, including investigation, coordination with engineering teams, execution of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementation/tracking of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Perform AWS infrastructure hardening aligned with security Benchmarks, ensuring secure configurations for compute, storage, networking, and identity components, along with ongoing compliance monitoring.

• Manage and enforce infrastructure security policies, standards, and procedures; perform operational Security SOP activities including periodic reviews, compliance validation, and continuous improvement of security controls.

• Support audit readiness by maintaining evidence and documentation aligned with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27017 and CSA CCM requirements.

• Execute standard operating procedures, Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) drills, validate recovery objectives (RTO/RPO) drive remediation of identified gaps.

• Work with members from rest of the engineering team and customer success

What are we looking for?

Must have:

• BS / MS degree in computer science from premier institutes with top grades or equivalent practical experience.

• 3+ years of experience working in DevOps.

• Experience or working knowledge of provisioning and managing infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform in production

• Experience of being on call schedule to support production

• Experience or working knowledge of packaging and deploying application with docker using ECS or Kubernetes

Good to Have: 

• Proficient in one coding language preferably Golang or Java

• AWS Devops Certification
