As a Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer at Thndr, you'll be part of our fast-growing fintech team. We are looking for someone who can bring deep expertise and hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, containerization, networking, and DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of designing, implementing, and guiding a robust DevOps and infrastructure roadmap across both cloud and on-premise environments. You will play a critical role in building scalable, resilient, and secure systems that support our mission-critical financial applications.
Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments.
Lead containerization and orchestration strategy using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring deployment, scaling, and security best practices.
Design and manage complex networking solutions, including VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, PrivateLinks, Direct Connect, and AWS Secure VPN setup, as well as hybrid cloud connectivity.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure, including automated testing and deployment.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code for scalable, multi-region infrastructures using multilevel Terraform and Terragrunt, ensuring modularity, version control, and automation.
Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting for all infrastructure components, with a mindset of proactive issue detection and response.
Collaborate with development, security, data teams to ensure smooth production releases.
Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers on best practices across cloud, networking, DevOps, and monitoring disciplines.
Ability to build deep context across multiple domains (Infrastructure, development, security, operations) to design cohesive, scalable DevOps solutions.
Drive DevOps initiatives by connecting technical, business, and operational perspectives to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure delivery.
Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, networking services).
Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent) for containerized applications.
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing) in cloud and on-prem environments.
Proven experience in designing and implementing DevOps strategies and infrastructure roadmaps.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent) for automation.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Knowledge of security best practices and fintech compliance standards
