We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure to support the deployment, optimization, and monitoring of our cloud-based infrastructure. In this role, you will automate processes, enhance system reliability, and ensure security, working closely with product and technical teams to drive operational excellence and scalability.
Our technology stack includes Microsoft .NET, an Angular frontend, microservices, and data hosted on Azure, alongside some on-premises core components. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance our hybrid infrastructure, driving innovation in deployment pipelines and cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the Azure Cloud stack to enable fully automated deployment, configuration, and operation, aiming for zero-touch systems.
- Build scalable, flexible architectures and pipelines to improve team autonomy, reliability, and speed to market.
- Set up robust monitoring systems, health checks, and proactive measures to enhance infrastructure reliability.
- Design and configure multi-level network environments across hybrid infrastructure, integrating PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS services.
- Automate builds and configuration management using tools like ARM Templates, Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
- Support container-based and function-based deployment strategies, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to align infrastructure with business needs and technical roadmaps.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in building and managing scalable, high-performance infrastructure with Azure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, with hands-on experience in Azure ecosystems.
- Expertise in automation tooling such as ARM Templates, Jenkins, and Git.
- Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting, including working with Microsoft Cloud APIs for system modifications.
- Familiarity with multi-tier application architecture and deployment in containerized or cloud environments.
- Understanding of container-based and function-based deployment methodologies.
- Experience implementing monitoring systems and health checks for complex environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset for cross-team engagement.
