Senior Devops Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Bangladesh technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining PalmPay’s cloud and on-premise infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to enable continuous integration and deployment, improve automation, and strengthen the company’s DevOps culture.

Cloud & Network Infrastructure Management

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud and on-prem infrastructure to support PalmPay’s digital operations.

• Conduct regular system audits, capacity planning, and vulnerability assessments.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations, network diagrams, and operational workflows.

Cloud Operations (AWS & AliCloud)

• Design and manage scalable AWS cloud architectures ensuring high availability, cost efficiency, and performance optimization.

• Oversee resource provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance across cloud environments.

• Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.

DevOps Tools & CI/CD Pipeline

• Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

• Collaborate with development teams to streamline application deployment and testing.

• Implement automation solutions to enhance delivery speed and system reliability.

Containerization & Kubernetes Administration

• Deploy, manage, and monitor Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers.

• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and security compliance of containerized systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes cluster or pod-level issues proactively.

Proxy & Networking Operations

• Configure and maintain Nginx for reverse proxy, TCP/IP, and load balancing.

• Manage and troubleshoot enterprise-grade networking equipment such as Fortigate, Cisco, and MikroTik firewalls and routers.

• Optimize network performance to ensure low-latency connectivity between systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or system engineering roles.

• Hands-on experience with AWS (AliCloud experience is a plus).

• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins/GitLab CI, and Nginx configuration.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Zabbix.

• Strong scripting and troubleshooting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).

• Solid understanding of network security, TCP/IP protocols, and firewall configurations.

• Knowledge of Java or experience supporting Java-based applications is preferred.
