Senior DevOps Engineer

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team in India. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation solutions. Working closely with development teams, you will provide technical expertise and support feature development while ensuring high availability and scalability of our cloud-native applications in AWS/Kubernetes.

How will you make an impact?

In this role you will be responsible for:

•       Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS

•       Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery

•       Collaborate with development teams to support feature development and provide DevOps expertise

•       Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python and other scripting languages

•       Manage, monitor, scale, and troubleshoot distributed systems in production

•       Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and similar tools

•       Participate in on-call rotations and incident response

•       Create and maintain technical documentation

•       Research and evaluate new technologies to improve our infrastructure stack

•       Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across the team

What is needed to succeed?

Required qualifications:

•       5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles

•       Strong coding and scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)

•       Solid experience with AWS Cloud services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.)

•       Hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployments, maintenance, and troubleshooting

•       Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar

•       Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)

•       Experience with containerization technologies (Docker)

•       Strong troubleshooting skills using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

•       Good communication and collaboration skills

•       Team player with ability to work independently

Desired qualifications:

•       Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD

•       Familiarity with additional programming languages (e.g., Go)

•       Experience with artifact management tools (jFrog Artifactory)

•       Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments

•       Experience with database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

•       Strong verbal communication skills in English
