So, what’s the role all about?
We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automating infrastructure and application deployment using a variety of tools and platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and cloud services, with a focus on Python programming, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, AWS, and Ansible.
How will you make an impact?
- Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for scalable and reliable infrastructure deployment.
- Cloud Management: Leverage AWS services to design and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Scripting & Automation: Write and maintain Python/PowerShell scripts for automation tasks, integrating various tools and services.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of the infrastructure and applications, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, PS, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
- Security Compliance: Ensure that the infrastructure and deployment processes comply with industry security standards and best practices.
Have you got what it takes?
- Total 5+ and Programming Experience
- Extensive experience with Windows and Deployment Frameworks.
- Application deployment and configuration using Terraform.
- Managing AWS infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and best practices for cloud architecture and management.
- Education Level: B.E/B.Tech/MTech/M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT preferred (or any engineering field considered) or equivalent.
- Good coding skills in major languages such as Python or Powershell.
- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed team
- Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environment against both short and long-term objectives
- Passionate about technology and solving IT operations-focused problems.
- Must be detail oriented, task driven, and have excellent communication skills. Customer service focus is key.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, peers, and others in and outside the organization to accomplish goals, objectives and to identify and resolve problems .
