Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively. 

Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines and infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD processes
• Manage and optimize cloud-based environments in AWS
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate deployments
• Orchestrating and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes
• Administer and maintain GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
• Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment 
• Documents existing processes 
• Applies good communication skills with team and client interaction. 

• Solid, hands-on experience building and managing AWS infrastructure 
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code through tools like Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation 
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration 
• In-depth knowledge of GitLab, Github, Azure DevOps, Teamcity or similar for version control and CI/CD 
• Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar) 
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
• Applied experience as lead, mentor and/ or coach would be a pluse.
