Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines and infrastructure
- Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD processes
- Manage and optimize cloud-based environments in AWS
- Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate deployments
- Orchestrating and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes
- Administer and maintain GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
- Documents existing processes
- Applies good communication skills with team and client interaction.
- Solid, hands-on experience building and managing AWS infrastructure
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code through tools like Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- In-depth knowledge of GitLab, Github, Azure DevOps, Teamcity or similar for version control and CI/CD
- Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Applied experience as lead, mentor and/ or coach would be a pluse.
