The Senior DevOps Engineer – VCS Specialist role will be responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, and serving as a GitHub administrator within an agile team framework to implement and support cloud-native applications built for the Azure cloud. More specifically, this person will be responsible for:
• GitHub administration
• Providing support to Dev and DevOps teams
• Cataloging and creating migration plans for legacy code and build services
• Participating in scrum activities to plan, prioritize, and report on product state
• Other relevant responsibilities as required for business and customer needs

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, specifically focused on supporting
and managing code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services.
• Proficiency in scripting and coding to automate repository management tasks and improve workflows.
• Experience with GitHub administration and management of version control systems.
• Familiarity with application performance management and monitoring tools is a plus.
• Experience in microservice architectures and their integration into CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of traditional network administration is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of traditional database administration is a plus.
