Job Summary
AllCloud is looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer. You will lead the design, build, and deployment of complex cloud environments for enterprise customers using innovative automation tools and cutting-edge technologies.
As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will take ownership of setting up, maintaining, and evolving enterprise-grade AWS cloud architectures. You will act as a technical authority, driving infrastructure observability strategies, leading complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, architecting end-to-end automation solutions, and mentoring fellow engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of highly scalable, secure, and tailor-made cloud solutions.
- Architect and drive the deployment of advanced, enterprise-grade cloud services.
- Design and implement comprehensive end-to-end automation and CI/CD strategies.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, maintaining a strategic feedback loop with customers to ensure solutions align with their core business needs and expectations.
- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) and resolution for high-impact, complex technical issues.
- Design and oversee large-scale, distributed monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to mid-level and junior DevOps engineers.
- 6+ years of proven hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and administration – Must.
- Extensive IT background with deep expertise in Linux system internals and advanced cloud networking.
- Expert-level experience designing, optimizing, and managing Container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker).
- Advanced scripting and development abilities in Python, GO, Bash, or PowerShell for robust automation.
- Strong architectural mindset, creative troubleshooting skills, and the ability to independently drive technology adoption.
- Expertise in designing and building complex CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, CircleCI, CodePipeline, etc.).
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and best practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Serverless framework).
- Deep mastery of Git, Gitflow, and advanced branching/collaboration methodologies.
- Strong expertise in architecting and implementing Security Products (Firewalls, Web Gateways, WAF, Proxies).
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience designing Serverless architectures.
- Proven track record in a senior customer-facing role, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and stakeholder audiences.
- Proven experience managing, scaling, and supporting mission-critical production environments. (Moved from Advantages to Requirements)
- Hebrew language is mandatory.
