We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, container orchestration, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms while driving automation across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
This role requires excellent scripting skills, deep AWS (or Azure) expertise, strong networking knowledge, observability experience, and the ability to mentor engineers while collaborating with development, security, and platform teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build scalable, secure, cost-efficient cloud infrastructure
Author robust automation in Python and/or Bash
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Provision and manage infrastructure as code (Terraform / Ansible)
Own observability — metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting
Manage containerized workloads across Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
Implement and enforce AWS security posture practices
Design and troubleshoot networking — routing, Transit Gateways, Site-to-Site VPN, Client VPN
Drive FinOps / cloud cost optimization
Mentor junior engineers
Required Skills:
Strong scripting in Python and/or Bash
Deep knowledge of AWS or Azure
Terraform or Ansible
Core AWS services: CIDR/VPC/Subnets/Security Groups, EC2, ECS, ALB/NLB, S3, IAM Roles, RDS & DocumentDB, CloudWatch, Athena
Expertise creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins; Git
Solid, hands-on skills with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
Solid experience with observability frameworks (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Datadog)
Good understanding of security posture practices on AWS (WAF, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Security Hub, KMS, least-privilege IAM)
Deep knowledge of routing, Transit Gateways, Site-to-Site VPN, Client VPN
Preferred Skills:
Multi-cloud knowledge of Azure and GCP
AIOps
API Gateway, QuickSight
FinOps tooling and governance
AWS certifications (Professional / Specialty preferred)
