As a Junior DevOps Engineer in Rockwell Automation, you will become a member of the team responsible for Enterprise DevOps Platform that we design, develop, and maintain as our internal product. Our Platform uses standard DevOps technology stack to automate the delivery of high quality and easily scalable CI/CD environments. With such solution, we assist our teams so they can focus on development and delivery of Rockwell products. Our group supports company internal teams with Platform adoption while working on its further releases to extend and improve existing features.
Not all of the qualifications are strictly required. We believe that a candidate experienced with some of them and would be a welcome addition to our team. We value cooperation and fresh ideas, so members of our team exchange the knowledge and complement each other. We are agile, we like Scrum, we are not afraid to experiment and develop our skills.
Your Responsibilities:- Experience working with Jenkins (pipelines, maintenance, troubleshooting)
- Knowledge of Groovy, Bash, and PowerShell
- Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- At least basic knowledge of Ansible and Terraform
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices
- You will be report to Hiring Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge in Software Configuration Management
- Knowledge of CI/CD related tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Artifactory or similar
- Knowledge of infrastructure and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar
- Good knowledge of the Powershell scripting language
- Familiarity with Groovy/Java programming languages (in context of Jenkins automation)
- Knowledge of container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
- Familiarity with Windows administration
- Exposure to on-prem or public clouds, ideally VMware and Azure
- Understanding of IT networking, common network protocols and services
- Using modern source control management system like Git
