We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and scale the continuous integration, testing, and release infrastructure for NVIDIA Isaac Sim!
NVIDIA Isaac Sim is a cutting-edge robotics simulation platform that empowers researchers and engineers to accelerate the development and deployment of intelligent robots. Leveraging the power of NVIDIA's AI and GPU technologies, Isaac Sim offers a realistic and scalable environment for training, validating, and optimizing robots for real-world scenarios.
You will work closely with Isaac Sim developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to make software delivery faster, more reliable, and reproducible. Your work will enable engineers to identify regressions early and deliver high-quality releases across supported platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design, develop, and operate CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, packaging, and releasing Isaac Sim and its components.
- Own GPU-enabled CI runners and test environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, scheduling, capacity planning, and recovery.
- Partner with developers and QA to integrate automated simulation, integration, and performance tests into pull-request validation, nightly builds, and release qualification.
- Improve build and test turnaround through parallel execution, caching, efficient GPU utilization, and systematic analysis of bottlenecks.
- Develop reproducible environments and versioned artifacts, managing dependencies, containers, and compatibility across supported operating systems and GPU software configurations.
- Build dashboards, logging, and alerts that expose pipeline health, infrastructure availability, test failures, and performance trends.
- Diagnose failures across build tools, operating systems, containers, GPU drivers, networking, and simulation runtimes; improve failure reporting and reduce flaky tests.
- Strengthen release automation through artifact traceability, quality gates, dependency scanning, and secure credential management.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, build and release engineering, or software engineering, with ownership of CI/CD systems.
- Strong Python and Bash programming skills and experience developing maintainable automation.
- Hands-on experience with Git-based development and CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, including networking, storage, processes, and performance.
- Experience with Docker, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation using tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Experience supporting automated tests, managing build artifacts and dependencies, and troubleshooting complex software pipelines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams and drive infrastructure improvements.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience with Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Omniverse, OpenUSD, or other robotics simulation platforms.
- Experience operating GPU infrastructure and debugging NVIDIA driver, CUDA, or graphics-runtime issues.
- Familiarity with C++ build systems, CMake, Python packaging, and software distribution across Linux and Windows.
- A track record of improving CI reliability, reducing build times, and increasing infrastructure utilization.
- Experience securing CI for open-source projects and untrusted contributions.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

What We Do
NVIDIA’s invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing — with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, NVIDIA is increasingly known as “the AI computing company.”
