We’re looking for a Consulting DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our Ghana team. This is a highly customer-facing role where you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor and hands-on builder. You’ll work directly with engineering teams, CTOs, and technical stakeholders to architect, implement, and optimize AWS environments that are secure, resilient, and cost-efficient.
You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with internal teams and external clients to deliver reliable, secure, and cost-optimized solutions.

Provide clear solution design guidance and prevent technical misalignment
Translate complex cloud concepts into practical implementation strategies
Architect and manage complex, highly secured AWS environments
Design multi-AZ VPC architectures, Transit Gateway routing, VPC peering, and hybrid connectivity (Site-to-Site VPN)
Implement high availability and multi-region HADR patterns
Lead and execute cloud migration strategies including lift-and-shift using AWS MGN
Perform database migrations using AWS DMS with minimal downtime
Support modernization initiatives beyond simple infrastructure replication
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt

Design architectures with security, risk mitigation, and regulatory requirements in mind
Implement advanced monitoring and observability solutions using CloudWatch, X-Ray, ELK/OpenSearch, Prometheus, and Grafana
Optimize system reliability, performance, and incident response visibility
Proactively identify and remediate cost inefficiencies
Optimize compute, storage (e.g., RDS), and networking configurations
Balance cost, performance, compliance, and scalability
