Job Summary

The project focuses on optimizing and automating the cloud infrastructure to enhance scalability, security, and operational efficiency. This initiative supports a digital transformation by ensuring a robust and efficient cloud environment for its mortgage lending services.

The Senior DevOps Engineer on the Cloud Engineering team will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Collaborating closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to drive innovation, improve platform resilience, and streamline software delivery. As a key technical leader, you will influence best practices, mentor engineers, and contribute to the continuous evolution of the company’s cloud engineering strategy

Responsibilities

• Building and optimizing cloud infrastructure to support scalable and high-performance applications.

• Developing and refining CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery efficiency and reliability.

• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues, ensuring high availability and resilience.

• Collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams to implement best practices for deployment, monitoring, and compliance.

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, adopting new tools and methodologies to enhance cloud engineering capabilities.

• Providing mentorship and technical leadership to support team growth and foster knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Experience managing AWS cloud-based environments, automating infrastructure provisioning, optimizing deployment workflows, and enhancing system performance.

• Strong background in infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, cloud architecture, and system reliability.
