Senior Salesforce Engineer - AI-Native, Full-Stack

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer with strong full-stack and AI-native engineering capabilities to lead the design and development of next-generation Salesforce integrations and analytical automation for the Commercial organization.

This role will be responsible for:

· Building secure, IT-governed MCP tools that interface with Salesforce

· Developing future Salesforce capabilities aligned to Sales Operations priorities

· Designing a scalable technical architecture for advanced analytics and automation

· Ensuring high-quality, consistent Salesforce data access across the business

You will collaborate across Commercial, IT, Data Stewardship, and regional Sales teams to modernize and elevate how Salesforce supports decision-making globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce & Integration Engineering

· Design, build, and maintain MCP tools that expose Salesforce data through secure, schema-validated interfaces

· Implement REST and Bulk API integrations for high-performance data retrieval

· Design future Salesforce capabilities in partnership with Sales Operations (new objects, automation, flows, data models, forecasting logic, etc.)

· Optimize Salesforce performance and maintain technical consistency across regions

Architecture & AI-Integrated System Design

· Architect backend services that support advanced analytics, automation, and AI-based workflows

· Collaborate with IT architects to define security boundaries, API governance, and identity management

· Ensure integrations adhere to OAuth 2.0, API limits, and enterprise compliance standards

· Build scalable, reusable backend components using Python or Node.js

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with:

o Salesforce platform development teams

o Commercial Excellence & Sales Operations

o Data Stewardship and data quality teams

o Regional leadership and business stakeholders

Leadership & Standards

· Mentor junior engineers

· Establish engineering best practices

· Participate in sprint planning, architecture reviews, and roadmap prioritization

· Define future Salesforce development capabilities for the commercial organization

Your background:

· 5+ years in Salesforce engineering (Apex, Lightning, SOQL, integration patterns)

· Strong experience with REST/Bulk API and OAuth authentication

· Proficiency in Python or Node.js (backend/full-stack experience)

· Experience building secure, governed enterprise integrations

· Familiarity with AI-driven tool architectures (function calling, RAG, tool schemas, MCP concepts)

· Strong understanding of CRM data models and sales processes

· Ability to work with cross-functional technical and business teams

Preferred Qualifications:

· Salesforce Platform Developer II or Integration Architect certifications

· Experience with Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, or containerized microservices

· Knowledge of enterprise data governance and metadata modeling

· Exposure to LLM-enabled automation or AI-driven tools
