The LPL Financial Digital Marketing department is seeking a Senior UI Developer to help deliver modern, intuitive digital experiences across high-impact advisor and client-facing platforms. This role is a strong fit for a hands-on UI technologist who enjoys building responsive, reusable, and scalable web solutions while partnering closely with product, AEM development, QA, and DevOps teams.

Job Overview:

As a senior technologist on the Digital Content Technology team, the Senior UI Developer is responsible for planning, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing digital experience solutions. The role requires a successful and experienced UI developer with strong front-end engineering skills and working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction.

  • Collaborate with development team members to deliver modern, flexible, animated, and responsive user experiences.

  • Partner with AEM developers to build reusable components and editable templates.

  • Propose solutions that maintain a minimum number of AEM components while enabling reusable, flexible, Bootstrap-based UI patterns.

  • Use and share Bootstrap standards and guidelines to help AEM authors build sites with reusable components.

  • Work collaboratively with QA and DevOps teams to adopt CI/CD toolchains and develop automation.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems.

  • Communicate regularly with technical and non-technical groups as part of product and project support.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of UI development experience designing and building responsive web applications using Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS, browser developer tools, command line tools, Angular, React, TypeScript, RxJS, and NPM.

  • Strong prototyping skills using wireframes or design tools.

  • Strong understanding of system integration and experience implementing distributed systems using both legacy and modern technical tools.

  • Strong understanding of using AI tools for development like Github Copilot or Cursor.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, prioritization, and execution skills with motivation to achieve long-term business outcomes.

Core Competencies:
  • Front-end engineering expertise across MVC, Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS, Angular, React, TypeScript, RxJS, and NPM.

  • Collaboration and delivery mindset with experience working across development, QA, DevOps, and product/project support teams.

  • Continuous integration, automation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and enhancement of existing systems.

Preferences:
  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including reusable components and editable templates.

  • Experience working with UX tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.

  • Experience working with source control tools such as TFS or Git.

  • Experience with client-side scripting tools such as jQuery, AngularJS, TypeScript, and RxJS.

  • Experience writing unit tests using VS Tests, Jasmine, or Karma.


 

Pay Range:

$106,100.00 - $176,900.00
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
